The fifth in a series of six webinars on EU Relations Law (“EURL”) from Monckton Chambers focused on the UK’s internal market post Brexit.
The webinar was chaired by George Peretz Q.C. The other speakers were: Ian Rogers QC, Valentina Sloane QC, Frank Mitchell SC (Ireland) and Andrew Macnab.
The panel discussed the implications of Brexit for the UK’s system of VAT; the repercussions of being outside the EU customs union; and the particular issues thrown up by the special circumstances of Northern Ireland.
